WA Dep Premier and Health Min The Hon Roger Cook MLA commends ACHSM's credentialling initiatives

The Deputy Premier and Minister for Health of Western Australia, The Hon Roger Cook MLA has written to ACHSM President Dr Neale Fong to formally commend the College for its important work undertaken in deploying credentialling to its members, with a view to "developing leaders and leadership capability in the health system."

Minister Cook wrote to ACHSM National President Dr Neale Fong, in a letter dated 11 May 2021, to formally commend the College for this important initiative.

He was referring the ACHSM's Certification program which is now offered to Associate Fellows and Fellows of the College, whereby Associate Fellows are deemed Certified Health Managers (CHMs) and Fellows deemed Certified Health Executives (CHEs) if they commit to undertaking a number of professional development requirements over the next three years.

Roger Cook also acknowledged the "considerable value that ACHSM provides in advancing health leadership and management through mechanisms such as this new credentialling program" as well as its other offerings.
