The ACHSM Board considers formal recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Constitution an unparalleled opportunity to deliver better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At a ceremony at NT Parliament House on 13 Dec 2021, NT Health Minister Natasha Fyles MLA recognised the College's 2020 and 2021 Fellows from the Territory.

The Deputy Premier and Minister for Health of Western Australia, The Hon Roger Cook MLA has written to ACHSM President Dr Neale Fong to formally commend the College for its work undertaken in deploying credentialling to its members.

Climate change poses an unprecedented threat to the health of people in Australia and across the world. ACHSM joins other organisations to call on all political parties and candidates in the upcoming federal election to publicly recognise the significant and profound health impacts of climate change to Australian people and take action now.
